Fire/Rescue News - Mays Landing man hit by car dies from his injuries

Justin Jamieson, 26, of the Mays Landing section of the township, was in the roadway on Cologne Avenue at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck by a car driven by Kelly Hageman, 47, of Egg Harbor Township, police said. Jamieson was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, where he was pronounced dead at 10:50 p.m.

Jamieson was a 2002 graduate of Oakcrest High School.

Hageman was not issued any summonses in the accident, police said.

The accident remains under investigation, police said Wednesday.
