PLEASANTVILLE - Two people were reported injured late Friday night when the vehicle they were riding in overturned on the Atlantic City Expressway, State Police said.

The accident was reported at about 10:58 p.m. at milepost 7.7 in the lanes leading in to Atlantic City.

Initial reports said two people were ejected from the vehicle and were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to State Police at the Expressway station.

The eastbound lanes were closed to traffic for several minutes, but one lane of traffic was soon reopened, police said.
