ATLANTIC CITY — An early morning fire displaced a Chelsea Heights family Saturday. Firefighters responded at about 2 a.m. to the home on the 3800 block of Boulevard Avenue. Fire Chief Dennis Brooks said it was quickly brought under control.

The fire started near the hot water heater, and appears to be accidental, Brooks said. “It looks like there were combustibles near the hot water heater,” he said.

Those displaced by the fire are staying with family down the street, Fire Chief Dennis Brooks said. The damage is estimated to be about $20,000.
